Austria: 8 Acts Remain In The Race For Eurovision 2025

Austrian magazine kleinezeitung reports that Austria has completed a considerable milestone in paving the path for Eurovision 2025.

Ever since 2017, Austria has selected its Eurovision act internally.
Once again, the search and sorting will be led by ORF’s Eurovision scouts.
In recent years, Eberhard Forcher has led the project alongside Peter Schreiber.

The submission window closed on the 15th of September 2024.
The Eurovision 2025 entry will be selected through live auditions in multiple rounds.
The format involved ORF’s management, Eurovision fan clubs, and an expert jury.
Currently, 8 songs remain in consideration to represent Austria in Basel.

Kaleen represented Austria at Eurovision 2024 with the song “We Will Rave”.
