The 63rd edition of “Festivali i Këngës” will be used to select the Albanian artist and entry for Eurovision 2025.
30 songs were shortlisted to participate in the festival. They will be released on Friday, 6th of December 2024.
Based on Eurovision Albania, the festival will last 4 days in a row
The festival will start on Thursday, the 19th of December, and the grand final will take place on Sunday the 22nd of December 2024.
“Festivali i Këngës 63” – Known Details
- The festival will last for 4 nights, between the 19th and the 22nd of December 2024.
- Night 1: First half of the participants (15 artists) will perform their songs. The results will be based on public and jury votes. The detailed results will be revealed.
- Night 2: Second half of the participants (15 artists) will perform their songs. The results will be based on public and jury votes. The detailed results will be revealed.
- Night 3: “Eurovision nostalgia” theme, the artists will perform songs from the past. At the end of the night, up to 18 qualifiers will be announced.
- Night 4: Final – The qualifiers will perform their songs again. The winner will be selected by a combination of public and jury votes.
- In addition, the jury will award 5 prizes:
- First, Second, Third place
- Critic’s Prize
- Best Lyrics Prize
- The artists will be presented as either “New-comers” or “Big Artists”.
- The hosts of the festival will be Enkel Demi and Ornela Bregu.
- Previously, it has been announced that Elhaida Dani will act as the artistic director of the festival.
- The format of the festival, and especially the way the results will be determined, is yet to be revealed.

- Elvana Gjata participated in the 58th edition of the festival and was considered a fan favorite with “Me Tana“
- Orgesa Zaimi participated in the 57th and 59th editions of the festival
- Gjergj Kaçinari participated in the 59th and 61st editions of the festival
- Mal Retkoceri participated in last year’s festival and won the jury vote!
- Alis Kallacej won “X-Factor Albania“
- Luna Çausholli participated in the 61st edition of the festival
- Santino De Bartolo participated in last year’s festival
- Devis Xherahu participated in the 46th, 58th and 59th editions of the festival
- Adelina Corraj participated in the 35th and 47th editions of the festival
- Erma Mici participated in the 61st edition of the festival
Besa represented Albania at Eurovision 2024 with “TITAN”.
She failed to qualify for the final, finishing in 14th place in semi-final 2.
Eurovision 2025 will be held in Basel, Switzerland on the 13th, 15th and 17th of May 2025
