Portugal: Six Acts Advanced to “Festival da Canção 2025” Final

The Portuguese broadcast RTP kick off tonight its national selection process for Eurovision2025 with the first semi final of “Festival da Canção 2025”

Hosting the first evening were Jorge Gabriel & José Carlos Malato presenting the first group of 10 acts who took the stage for the first time

  2. Rita Sampaio – Voltas
  3. Du Nothin – Sobre Nós
  4. Marco Rodrigues – A Minha Casa
  5. Margarida Campelo – Eu sei que o amor
  6. JOSH – Tristeza
  7. Capital da Bulgária – Lisboa
  8. Bluay – Ninguém
  9. Jéssica Pina – Calafrio
  10. Peculiar – Adamastor

Once all the votes were in, it was announced that the 6 entries advancing to the final are:

  • Marco Rodrigues – A Minha Casa
  • Margarida Campelo – Eu sei que o amor
  • JOSH – Tristeza
  • Bluay – Ninguém
  • Jéssica Pina – Calafrio
  • Peculiar – Adamastor

and unfortunately for these 4 acts the Eurovision journey has ended tonight:

  • Xico Gaiato – Ai Senhor!
  • Rita Sampaio – Voltas
  • Du Nothin – Sobre Nós
  • Capital da Bulgária – Lisboa

Next week, the 2nd group of 10 will take the stage and the top 6 acts will join the grand final lineup which will take place exactly 2 weeks from now on Marc 8, 2025. Performing next week are:

  1. A Cantadeira – Responso à Mulher
  2. TOTA – á-tê-xis
  3. bombazine – Apago tudo
  4. Emmy Curl – Rapsódia da Paz
  5. Inês Marques Lucas – Quantos Queres
  6. Fernando Daniel – Medo
  7. Luca Argel feat. Pri Azevedo – Quem foi?
  8. NAPA – Deslocado
  9. Diana Vilarinho – Cotovia
  10. HENKA – I Wanna Destroy U

Portugal was allocated to perform in the 1st half of semi-final 1

Eurovision 2025 will be held in Basel, Switzerland on the 13th, 15th, and 17th of May 2025.
