JESC 2025: Inês Gonçalves will represent Portugal at Junior Eurovision 2025

Inês Gonçalves has won The Voice Kids Portugal and will represent Portugal at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025

After months and months and final was held over two rounds. In the first round, all eight finalists performed,. The coaches then selected one singer from each of their team to progress to the second round. In the second round, the final four finalists performed again and the winner was chosen.

About Inês Gonçalves

Inês is 12 years old and lives with her mother and siblings, Alice and Santiago, in Alentejo. She started singing at the age of 3 and later enrolled in ‘Cante Alentejano’ classes; a traditional way of singing in that region of Portugal. She is a member of the Ourique Children’s Choir and also performs in a ‘Cante‘ singing trio.

Since Inês was little, she’s been learning and playing several instruments at school, including drums, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, violin, trumpet, piano, bass, ukulele and transverse flute!

Inês had the honour of performing live at a concert by Buba Espinho, who is a very famous Portuguese singer and also connected to the world of ‘Cante’. She even got to appear in one of his music videos; for his song É Tão Grande o Alentejo.

Victoria Nicole represented Portugal at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with “Esperança”. She finished 2nd in the final with 213 points.
