Azerbaijan Confirms Junior Eurovision 2025 Participation

Azerbaijani broadcaster Ictimai TV confirmed the country will compete in Junior Eurovision 2025, which will be held in Georgia.

The last time Azerbaijan participated in a contest was in 2021, and since then, the country has been absent from the contest.

Moreover, the national broadcaster has opened the submission window for applications:

  • The submission window will close on August 31st, 2025.
  • Azeri performers aged between 9 and 14 must submit two videos of themselves singing, each in a different language: one in Azerbaijani and one in a foreign language.
  • Application should be sent via Whatsapp: +994 55 205 31 23
  • The national broadcaster will also approach young artists who have already performed in international festival and competitions

The artist will be chosen internally by 6 members expert jury panel

Sona Azizova represented Azerbaijan at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with “One of Those Days”. She finished in the 5th place, which is the country’s best score to date.
