Greece Opens Applications For “Ethnikós Telikós 2026”

For the 2nd year in a row, Greece will select its Eurovision entry via the national selection “Ethnikós Telikós”.
The Greek broadcaster ERT revealed the first details regarding the selection process.


“Ethnikós Telikós 2026” – Known Details

  1. The submission window will close on November 2nd, 2025.
  2. This time, the selection will feature 2 semi-finals and a final (unlike last year, where the selection included a final only).
  3. The shows will be held in February 2026.
  4. Up to 28 songs will be shortlisted to participate in the shows.
  5. Up to 14 songs will compete in each semi-final, with 7 qualifying to the final. The semi-final results will be based on 100% public vote.
  6. In the final, the results will be based on a 50% public vote, a 25% national jury vote, and a 25% International jury vote.

Klavdia represented Greece in Eurovision 2025
She performed “Asteromáta” and finished 6th in the final.

Eurovision 2026 will be held in Vienna, Austria, on May 12th, 14th, and 16th, 2026.
