Listen to Spanish entry for Junior Eurovision 2025 by Gonzalo Pinillos with the song “Érase una vez (Once Upon a Time)”

Spanish broadcaster RTVE during the press conference they released the Spanish entry for upcoming Junior Eurovision 2025.

“Érase una vez (Once Upon a Time)” was written and composed by Luis Ramiro, Alejandro Martínez, David Parejo, who wrote the last two Spanish Junior Eurovision entries. The main message of the song to inspire children through reading but the songwriters said that the songs also has a message for adults:

“We wanted adults to get emotional while hearing the song too. We wanted to make them remember a time when they read about Astérix, Tintin and other fantastic characters.”

Gonzalo himself was also involved in the writing and added lines in French, which he speaks.

RTVE also revealed the performance team for Junior Eurovision 2025. Verónica Ferreiro will be the vocal coach for the third consecutive year. Juan Sebastián, who worked on the staging for Nebulossa at Eurovision 2024, will be in charge of the staging. Mónica Peña will choreograph the performance in Tbilisi, which will feature two dancers; Daniela Valladolid and Alex Garrido.

The official music video, which was partially filmed at the Spanish Cultural Heritage Institute in Madrid, will be released soon, meanwhile you can listen to song here:

Lets remind who is Gonzalo Pinillos

Gonzalo is 14 years old and comes from Madrid. He has participated in various theatre productions in Madrid, including School of Rock, The Chorus and Intérprete. Outside of performing, he is interested in various sports, such as basketball, swimming, surfing, and skiing. He started playing chess in 2017 and has since reached the finals of the Madrid regional chess championship.

Chloe Delarosa represented Spain at Junior Eurovision 2024 with the song “Como la Lola” and she placed in 6th place with 144 points.
