On October 30th, 2025. Luxembourgish broadcaster RTL revealed the list of 8 finalists aiming to represent Luxembourg in Eurovision 2026.
The country will choose its Eurovision 2026 song via the “Luxembourg Song Contest 2026”.

The Songs
Andrew the Martian – “I’m The Martian“
The song was created as a collaboration between different writers: Ynke Dingenen (Belgium), Tchiah Ommar Abdulrahman (Belgium), DJ Rudolfs Budze (Latvia), and André Baptista (Andrew the Martian).
He describes the song as “Every melody and every lyric we created seemed to guide us toward the next step. It almost felt as if the song was coming to us from somewhere extraterrestrial, André says. I’m The Martian explores the feeling of being an outsider, like a Martian on Earth, especially in moments when you feel misunderstood or when you move to a new place.”
Daryss – “Melusina“
The song was inspired by the legend of the Luxembourg mermaid.
The song was written by Antoine Barrau (Igit) from France, Daryss, Alexandre Finkin and arranger Boban Apostolov.
Igit co-wrote “Voila” by Barbara Pravi.
Eva Marija – “Mother Nature“
The song was written by Maria Mathea Broberg (Sweden), Julie Aagaard (Denmark), and producer Thomas Stengaard (Denmark).
She describes the song as: “It is based on the feeling of childhood, when you’d be playing carefree within parks and forests. Mother Nature uses nature as a symbol of hope, freedom, and groundedness. It calls to reconnect with your inner child and let go of your fears.”
Hugo One – “Born Again“
It is a pop song with 1980’s music influences. The song was written by former “LSC” contestant EDSUN, together with Emil Lei (Denmark) and Albin Fredy (Sweden).
Hugo describes the song as “Born Again is about healing after heartbreak and asks: who would you be if you could start over?”
Irem – “Bad Decisions” (Hush Hush)
The song was created in a songwriting camp that took place in Rocklab. The idea of the song rose from a secret Item told to the songwriters. The team behind the song includes: Irem Sosay (the performer), Maria Broberg Mathea (Sweden), and Remy Cooper (The Netherlands). The song includes lyrics in 3 languages: English, French and German.
Luzac – “Prison Dorée“
The song is based on the metaphor of a bird in a cage. It describes his desire to engage with music, even though he is surrounded by family and friends, and should feel happy.
The song was written in a songwriting camp by: Lucas Zagdoudi (Luxembourg), Sam Ray (The UK) , Tchiah Ommar Abdulrahman (Belgium) and, Ynke Dingenen(Belgium)
ShiroKuro – “Eye to Eye“
The song was written by the 3 band members: Nathanaël Paulis, Louis Comblin and Matias Pollicino.
It is a pop-rock track that discusses the current situation in the world, from the point of view of young people.
Steve Castile – “Sweet Tooth“
Steve describes the song as “a dark, obsessive confession about loving someone who seems sweet but is actually bad for you”.

- The final show will take place in Rockhal, at Esch-sur-Alzette on January 24th, 2026.
- The results will be based on public vote and international jury vote.
