Israel will select its artist for Eurovision 2026 via the final of “Hakohav Haba La’Euorvision 2026” (Eng: The Rising Star For Eurovision 2026).

The Artists

4 artists qualified for the final:

1. Noam Bettan
2. Gal De Paz
3. Shira Zaluf
4. Alona Erez

The Format

The hosts of the shows will be Assi Azar and Rotem Sela

1. The regular studio panel members are: Keren Peles, Shiri Maimon, Eden Hason, Itai Levi, and Assaf Amdursky
2. In the first round, each one of the 4 artists will perform the first cover.
   • Each jury member will rank his/her top 4 in the scale of 6-12 points.
   • The public will vote online via KAN app.
   • The final score will be composed of 70% public vote and 30% jury vote
   • The top 3 will qualify for the super final
3. In the second round, the three super-finalists will each perform an additional song. A weighted vote from the studio jury, a secondary jury, and the public will determine the winner
4. The song will be selected internally by a selection committee by March 2026

Israel will compete in semi-final 1 of Eurovision 2026 (May 12th, 2026).
The country is allocated to perform in the second half of the show.

Eurovision 2026 will be held in Vienna, Austria, on May 12th, 14th, and 16th, 2026.
