Based on the EBU press release, Malta was chosen to host Junior Eurovision 2026.
The 24th edition of the contest will be held on Saturday, October 24th, 2026
This marks the 3rd time Malta will host the contest, with the previous times being in 2014 and 2016.
The event will be held at the MFCC venue in Ta’Qali:

Elizz Borg represented Malta at Junior Eurovision 2025 with the song “I Believe“.
