San Marino RTV announced its first plans for Eurovision 2027.
As in 2026, the selection process will open the door for artists from all over the world.
The selection process will be composed of 2 phases: “Dreaming San Marino 2027″ and “San Marino Song Contest 2027”.
Dreaming San Marino 2027
- The submission window opened on August 3rd, 2026
- This selection phase will kick off with a casting round. The first live casting rounds are currently set up to take place on October 9th-10th and November 20th-21st.
- Artists must be at least 16 years old. No country or nationality restrictions.
- The selection jury will evaluate the auditions and will select around 240 artists to qualify for the next round.
- The qualifiers will attend the Stage & Live Academy round.
- They will compete in 8 shows. 5 Artists will qualify from each show.
- The 40 qualifiers will proceed to the semi-finals of “San Marino Song Contest 2027”.

San Marino Song Contest 2027
- The contest will feature 2 semi-finals and a grand final.
- 20 artists will compete in each semi-final. 5 of them will qualify for the final.
- The 10 qualifiers will compete in the final, alongside 10 established artists who would qualify directly to the final.
- “San Marino Song Contest 2027” semi-final will be held on March 3rd and 4th, 2027.
- The “San Marino Song Contest 2027” final will be held on March 6th, 2027.
- The winner will be selected by a 5-member jury panel.
- Artists from San Marino will go through a different path, to help them increase the chances to compete in the final.
Senhit and Boy George represented San Marino in Eurovision 2026.
They performed the song “Superstar” and didn’t qualify for the final
Eurovision 2027 will be held in Bulgaria in May 2027
