Kim Verson Will Replace Group 4 Tenora Withdraw From Croatia’s Dora 2019

Soon, all eyes will be set to Croatia in order to watch their national final format “Dora” comeback.

Two weeks ago, the Croatian broadcast HRT announced the 16 (and 2 backups) that will participate in Dora 2019 to be held on February 16th.

This morning, HRT announced that due to previous commitments the group 4 Tenora was forced to cancel their participation in the contest.  a call to join was given to Tonka “Don’t Say You Love Me” that came 17 in the experts’ committee vote chosen the songs for the contest. Tonka decided not to take part in the contest so song no. 18 will join the contest, that is Kim Verson – “Nisam to što žele”.

HRT also announced another places 19 and 20 that will be used as an extra back-ups for any case scenario. these are:

  • Patricia Gašparini – Pretend (written by P. Gašparini, O. Novaković, and D. Scholz)
    Eni&Vjeko – Čudo (written by B. Kovačić)

Croatia will participate in the second half of Semifinal 2 on May 16th. Last year Franka‘s “Crazy” failed to qualify for the final. will returning to Dora song selection format bring a higher spot for Croatia in Eurovision 2019?  we will reveal soon
