The Latvian broadcaster LTV has finally put an end to the rumors regarding their participation in Rotterdam.
Earlier today, LTV finally confirmed their participation in Eurovision 2020. Latvia joins as the 39th country on the list approved for the show.
The Latvian representative for Rotterdam will be selected through the popular national final selection “Supernova.” Supernova’s sixth season grand final is scheduled for February 8, 2020. It is yet to be revealed how many artists will participate in the show, or if there will be a pre semi-final round. The broadcast has now opened a song submission window open until November 20th.
Last year, the band Carousel represented Latvia in Tel-Aviv. They did not qualify for the Grand final, but placed 15th in the second semi-final.
