SVT, the Swedish broadcast held tonight the fourth semi-final of the famous national selection “Melodifestivalen”
At the end of all seven performances, the show results were as follow:
Going straight to the final are:
Hanna Ferm – Brave
and Victor Crone – Troubled Waters
Mooving on to the “Andra chansen” are
Frida Öhrn – We Are One
and Ellen Benediktson & Simon Peyron – Surface
Sadly, ending their road in Melodifestivalen 2020 are:
- William Stridh – Molnljus (came in 5th place with 700,582 votes )
- Jakob Karlberg – Om du tror att jag saknar dig (came in 6th place with 619,888 votes )
- Nanne Grönvall – Carpool Karaoke (came in 7th place with 548,116 votes)
Sweden’s journey will move next week to Stiga Sports Arena in Eskilstuna for the second chance round. batteling in duels for the last tickets to the grand final are:
Duel 1:
- Anis Don Demina – Vem e som oss
- Ellen Benediktson & Simon Peyron – Surface
Duel 2:
- Malou Prytz – Ballerina
- Paul Rey – Talking in My Sleep
Duel 3:
- Felix Sandman – Boys with Emotions
- Frida Öhrn – We Are One
Duel 4:
- Mendez feat. Alvaro Estrella – Vamos amigos
- Drängarna – Piga Och dräng

Sweden will participate in the first half of the first Semifinal 2 on May 12th. Last year, John Lundvik represented Sweden in Tel-Aviv and finished 5th in the grand final with “Too Late for Love”
