Portugal: Festival Da Canção 2020 First Finalists Revealed

PORTUGAL

Portugal has started tonight its journey to Rotterdam with the first semi-final of the traditional “Festival Da Canção”.

The same as in previous years, the festival will include 2 semi-finals and final.
8 artists will participate in each semi-final. 4 artists will qualify from each semi-final and therefore will complete the final’s eight acts line-up.

Tonight the first group of 8 act has taken the stage.

  • P 20 PT – SF1 – 02 – Filipe Sambado – Gerebera Amarela do Sul
  • P 20 PT – SF1 – 03 – Ian Mucznick – O Dia De Amanhã
  • P 20 PT – SF1 – 04 – Bárbara Tinoco – Passe-Partout
  • P 20 PT – SF1 – 05 – Blasted – Rebellion
  • P 20 PT – SF1 – 06 – Elisa – Medo De Sentir
  • P 20 PT – SF1 – 07 – J.Jazz – Agora
  • P 20 PT – SF1 – 08 – Throes + The Shine – Movimento

At the end of the 50/50 combination voting of jury panel and the public vote it was announced that the 4 qualifiers for the final are:

Festival Da Canção grand final will take place on March 7th, 2020. this will be the date when the Portuguese representative for Rotterdam will be revealed.
