JESC 2021 Round Up-Week 2

On May 20th 2021 we found out that Junior Eurovision 2021 will be held in Paris,France. We continue to report weekly the news for each country preparations for Junior Eurovision 2021.

Austrian broadcaster OFR confirmed to Eurovision website Eurofestivales that they won’t debut in Junior Eurovision 2021. Eurofestivales reported that OFR remains that they are not interested to joining the party.

Estonian broadcaster ERR confirmed to Eurovision website Eurofestivales that they won’t debut at Junior Eurovision 2021.Intrestingly that Estonia is only Baltic country that never took part in Junior Eurovision. ERR made decision that due to financial aspect of the contest to not take part this year but this means Estonia hasn’t ruled out out of their participation at the future JESC editions.

Isralian broadcaster IPBS confirmed to Eurovision website Eurofestivales that Israel won’t return in Junior Eurovision 2021. Yuval Fisher explained that that broadcaster is focusing the efforts on adult Eurovision Song Contest.

Last time Israel participated in 2018, Noam Dadon with song ”Children Like These”.

Moldovian broadcaster TRM announced that Moldova won’t return to Junior Eurovision 2021.

Last time Moldova participated in 2011 by Lerika with song ”No No”.

Few weeks ago finalists of Dutch national selection for JESC 2021 has been revealed.

In latest episode we seen the how participants are getting ready to shoot some postcards and we hear some snippets from their songs.

Slovakian broadcaster RTVS announced that won’t debut this year Junior Eurovision and won’t return to adult version of Eurovision Song Contest.

Junior Eurovision 2021 is set to take place in Paris, France on 19th December 2021.
