Kelly Clarkson and Snoop Dogg To Host The First Ever American Song Contest

The race of finding America’s best new song has is gearing up!

The show will kick-off in just a month from now and will be broadcast live the Universal Lot for Eight weeks.

Today came another great surprise from the show’s organizers as the Grammy winner Kelly Clarkson will host the show together with the music legend Snoop Dogg.

I have been a fan and love the concept of Eurovision and am thrilled to bring the musical phenomenon to America. I’m so excited to work with Snoop and can’t wait to see every state and territory represented by artists singing their own songs.

Kelly already expressed her passion to the contest when just a few weeks ago she covered Duncan Laurence “Arcade” who won the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest in Tel-Aviv.

The ” American Song Contest” will premiere on Monday 21 March, 2022, with a two-hour primetime show to e arid on NBC network.

50 states of the United States of America, five U.S. territories and the nation’s capital will participate in the contest. Through all the show including 3 Qualifying Rounds, 2 Semi-Finals & a Grand Final the continent will go on a journey to find the best new original song.

The winner will be chosen on a live show grand final that will take place on 9 May, 2020 – Just one day before the neighbor continent will kick of the 1st semi-final of the 66th Eurovision Song Contest
