Sweden: “Melodifestivalen 2022” Final Line-up Completed

God kväll Sverige!

Sweden broadcast the fifth semi-final of “Melodifestivalen 2022” – The second-chance round!

On a mission to host the shows this year is the Oscar Zia. unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 situations the planned tour was cancelled and Zia will host the live shows from the capital city Stockholm. The first three events will take place at Avicii Arena (AKA Globen) and the last three from Friends Arena.

Tonight, 8 acts conquered the stage. They were divided into 2 groups (each one of 4 artists).

Group 1

  1. Tone Sekelius – My Way
  2. Alvaro Estrella – Suave
  3. Danne Stråhed – Hallabaloo
  4. Anna Bergendahl – Higher Power

Group 2

  1. THEOZ – Som du vill
  2. Lisa Miskovsky – Best to Come
  3. Lillasyster  Till Our Days Are Over
  4. Cazzi Opeia – I Can’t Get Enough


2 artists qualified from each group:

Anna Bergendahl – Higher Power (from Group 1)

Tone Sekelius – My Way (from Group 1)

Theoz – Som Du Vill (from Group 2)

Cazzi Opeia – I Can’t Get Enough (from Group 2)

Next week, SVT will broadcast the final of “Melodifestivalen 2022” with 12 artists:

  • Cornelia Jakobs – Hold Me Closer
  • Robin Bengtsson – Inocent Love
  • Liamoo – Bluffin
  • John Lundvik – Änglavakt
  • Faith Kakembo – Freedom
  • Anders Bagge – Bigger Than The Universe
  • Klara Hammarström – Run To The Hills
  • MEDINA – In I Dimman
  • Anna Bergendahl – Higher Power
  • Tone Sekelius – My Way
  • Theoz – Som Du Vill
  • Cazzi Opeia – I Can’t Get Enough

The show will be held will be held at Friends Arena, Stockholm.
