As every year, Portugal has chosen an artist and a song for Eurovision via “Festival da Canção“.
This year, it is the 57th edition of the traditional festival.

13 artists qualified for the final and performed in the running order:

- Bárbara Tinoco – Goodnight
- You Can’t Win, Charlie Brown – Contraste Mudo

- Mimicat – Ai Coração
- DAPUNKSPORTIF – World Needs Therapy
- Neon Soho – Endless
- Ivandro – Povo
- Edmundo Inácio – A Festa

The results were determined by a 50% public vote and a 50% national jury
