Moldova Confirms Eurovision 2024 Participation

Moldova has confirmed its participation in Eurovision 2024 in Sweden.
Traditionally, Moldova is one of the last countries to release a statement regarding Eurovision participation.
However, this year, Moldova is an early bird. Moldovan Broadcaster TRM confirmed its participation already in June.

Daria Capatina, head of the Moldovan delegation, said:

“I am happy to confirm that Moldova will participate in Eurovision 2024 in Sweden”

Details about the selection process haven’t been reported.
However, it is very possible TRM will hold a national selection (whether it will be determined by an expert just, public vote, or combination of the two).
Moldova has held a national selection almost each year, with the exception of between 2007 and 2021.

With this, Moldova joins the list of countries that have already confirmed their participation in Eurovision 2024: Sweden, Norway, Finland, Israel, Cyprus, Germany, France, Spain, and more.

Pasha Parfeni represented Moldova at Eurovision 2023 with the song “Soarele şi Luna“.
He ended up in 18th place in the final, with a total of 96 points:

Who would you like to see representing Moldova at Eurovision 2024?
Will the song and artist be chosen through a national selection?
