Germany: “Das deutsche Finale 2024” Line-Up Has Been Completed

Germany will select an entry and an artist for Eurovision 2024 via a national selection: “Eurovision Song Contest – Das deutsche Finale 2024” . The show will be held on the 16th of February 2024
and will be hosted by Barbara Schöneberger

At the end of January, the national broadcaster NDR revealed 8 direct finalists (those that have been selected by the professional committee):

  1. Bodine Monet – Tears like Rain
  2. Galant Katze
  3. Isaak Always on the Run
  4. Leona Undream You
  5. Marie Reim – Naiv
  6. Max Mutzke – Forever Strong
  7. NinetyNine – Love on a Budget
  8. Ryk Oh Boy

Ich will zum ESC!

Yesterday, NDR held the final of “Ich will zum ESC!”.
This is the secondary path for the German selection for Eurovision 2024.
3 artists (originally 4, but one of them withdrew due to illness) competed for the additional spot in “Das deutsche Finale 2024”:

  • Anne – Yellow Brick Road
  • FLORYAN – Scars (winner)
  • Luca – Farben neuer Tage

Based on a pubic vote, the winner is Floryan with the song “Scars”.

Therefore, the line-up of “Das deutsche Finale 2024″ is now completed with 9 artists in the race to represent Germany at Eurovision 2024:

  1. Bodine Monet – Tears like Rain
  2. Galant Katze
  3. Isaak Always on the Run
  4. Leona Undream You
  5. Marie Reim – Naiv
  6. Max Mutzke – Forever Strong
  7. NinetyNine – Love on a Budget
  8. Ryk Oh Boy

Who would you like to see representing Germany at Eurovision 2024?
Eurovision 2024 will be held in Malmö, Sweden.
The semi-finals will be held on the 7th and 9th of May 2024, and the grand final will be held on the 11th of May 2024
