Latvia will select its Eurovision 2025 entry and artist via “Supernova 2025”.
20 artists were shortlisted to participate in the semi-finals.
However, the singer Grēta has just informed she has withdrawn from “Supernova 2025“, due to ongoing illness, which prevents her from performing.

Among the participants we can find some former participants:
- Justs represented Latvia in Eurovision 2016
- Citi Zeni represented Latvia in Eurovision 2022
- KATRINA GUPALO participated in “Supernova 2024” with “The Cat’s Song“
- Marta competed in “Supernova 2019“
- Markus Riva competed in “Supernova” on many occasions between 2015 and 2024.
The show will be aired on February 1st, 2025 (21:10 CET) and can be streamed on LTV1, REplay.lv, and LSM.lv. 10 entries will advance to the grand final that will take place the following week February 8, 2025, where we all gonna find out the Latvian entry to Basel.

“Supernova 2025” – Known Details
- A panel of professional jury members (both from Latvia and foreign experts) shortlisted the songs.
- The semi-final will be held on Saturday, the 1st of February 2025.
- The Final will be held on Saturday, the 8th of February 2025.
- The results of each show will be determined by a 50% jury vote and a 50% public vote
