Ukraine: Ziferblat Release The Revamped Version of “Bird of Pray”

Recently, the band members have worked on a new version of the song, which will be their new version for Eurovision 2025.

You can listen to the new version here:

“Bird of Pray” – The Revamped Version

  1. The sound producer Anton Chilibi, who has previously worked on Ukraine entries for Eurovision 2022 (“Stefania”) and Eurovision 2024 (“Maria & Theresa”), contributed to the new version.
  2. The main changes are in the production, as the sound of the song is more cinematic and yet influences by the 1970’s music.
  3. The intro still features female backing vocals, including some pauses which makes the listener more excited.
  4. The lyrics in the chorus are now lightened, including a guitar solo. The chorus has now a more orchestral dimension.

The band members recated:

We deliberately sought out someone with experience in creating songs specifically for Eurovision. This “cosmetic overhaul allowed us to integrate elements that we hope will resonate with the Eurovision fan community. We added orchestral parts in the choruses, giving «Bird of Pray» an epic scale, and introduced pauses at the beginning of the track to create intrigue without revealing the full essence of the composition in the first few seconds.”

Ukraine was allocated to perform in the 1st half of semi-final 1
Eurovision 2025 will be held in Basel, Switzerland on the 13th, 15th, and 17th of May 2025.
