SBS (The Australian Broadcaster) has revealed another 4 competing artists that will take part in “Australia Decides 2020” (Australia National Selection for Eurovision 2020).
The announcement completes the list of 10 artists that will compete for representing Australia in Eurovision 2020.
Here is the announcement of the four last artist in “Australia Decides 2020”:
Jack Vidgen
Jack Vidgen is a 22 years old Pop and Soul singer. He is best known for winning the 5th season of “Australia got Talent” when he was only 14 years old. He has released a first album in August 2011 – “Yes, I Am”. The album was number three on Aria Albums Chart and was certificated gold. In 2012, he released his second album – “Inspire”. In 2019, he competed in The Voice of Australia and was mentored by Guy Sebastian (who represented Australia in Eurovision 2015). Jack was eliminated in the semi-finals.
Jack will perform the song “I’m King I’m Queen” in “Australia Decides 2020” and actually it is the very first song that has been released from the Australian selection:
Diana Rouvas
Diana Rouvas is a 35 years old Pop Soul singer. She was born to a Greek father and an Australian mother. In 2019, she won “The Voice of Australia“. Diana also competed in “The Voice of Australia” in 2012 and reached Top8. She will perform a song named “Can We Make Heaven?”
Jordan-Ravi
Jordan-Ravi is a 19 years old guitarist, singer, and songwriter that engages especially in the Genre of Soul and inspired by popular African music. In 2019, Jordan competed in “America’s Got Talent” and was eliminated in the Judge-Cuts level. He performed his original version to “High Hopes”:
He will perform a song named “Pushing Stars” that was co-written by George Sheppard and Tania Doko. Tania and George competed in “Australia Decides 2019”.
Jaguar Jonze
Jaguar Jonze was born in Japan to Taiwanese mother and Australian father. She is well known on Australian indie radio station “Triple J”. Recently, she has released the following song:
