Tonight, 2 countries will take another step towards selecting a song and an artist for Eurovision 2022!
What: “Melodi Grand Prix 2022” – Semi-Final 2
Where? Live stream on NRK website
When? 19:50 – 21:05 (CET)
Format: 4 artists will compete for one spot in the final.
In the first part of the show, they will sing in 2 duels:
Duel 1
Steffen Jakobsen – “With Me Tonight”
Lilly Löwe – “Bad Baby”
Duel 2
Daniel Lukas – “Kvelertak”
Farida – “Dangerous”
The winner of each duel will qualify for the next round.
In the second round, we will have a 3rd duel between the 2 winners.
The winner of the last duel will be the winner of this semi-final, and will receive a path for the final.
The results will be determined by a public vote.

In addition, we will watch the live performance of one of the pre-qualifiers:

Format: 12 artists will compete for 6 spots in the semi-finals:

- Geleibra – Aš jaučiu tave
- Gintarė Korsakaitė – Fantasy Eyes
- Lolita Zero – Not Your Mother
- Mėnulio fazė – Give me a sign
- Monika Liu – Sentimentai
- Rūta Loop – Call Me From the Cold
- Vasha – Nepaleidi
- Vilija Matačiūnaitė – Šimtas vienas
- Živilė Gedvilaitė – Lioness
The results will be determined by 50% national jury voting and 50% public vote.
Top 6 will qualify for the the semi-finals.
