Welcome to our series of posts – “The Looker” where we will share our wish list of artists participating in Eurovision.
This is the 3rd year in a row that we are running the project.
But before we start, let us remark that our recommendations will not necessarily come true (as for example some countries select their artists by reality shows)
This is the 2nd post in the series and it will concentrate on 3 countries: Cyprus, Greece, and Israel.

#1.Tania Breazou
Tania Breazou (also known as Tania Mpreazou) is a 24 year-old Greek singer of a Romanian descent.
She became known in 2016, when she participated in the 4th season of “X-Factor Greece”, where she ended up in 4th place was was eliminated a stop before the final.
Her mentor was Tamta (who represented Cyprus at Eurovision 2019).
During the shows, Sakis Rouvas offered her an on-air proposal to cooperate with him in his live performances.
She released her debut single “Ο κόσμος μου” (Eng: My World).
Later on, she collaborated with the REC band.
In 2020 she took part in “Your Face Sounds Familiar” and was the winner of the show’s premiere, embodying Ariana Grande.

Tania is a promising pop star, with a great stage presence.
She can do well with a pop hit, and especially one in the Greek language.
In the part, she has stated that she would be happy to participate in the Eurovision, and maybe it is only about time.
#2. Daphne Lawrence

Daphne Lawrence is one of the rising stars in the Greek music industry.
She is a Greek singer-songwriter, who has collaborated with some big names like Anna Vissi (Who represented Greece at Eurovision 2006 and Cyprus at Eurovision 1982).
In 2023, Daphne released her first EP “Esy Kai Egw”
In 2022, she collaborated with Anna Vissi on he released the song “Αίμα” (Eng: Blood):

In 2023, he released the single “Avissos“:
Daphne is a talented singer-songwriter.
Some of her songs have already achieved millions of views/streams.
Her personality is well reflected through different texts and melodies and maybe Eurovision can help her getting international recognition.

#1. Konstantinos Argyros
Konstantinos Argyros is a 37 year-old Greek singer.
At the age of five, he took his first steps in music, learning to play the piano. Later on, he learned to play the guitar and some other Greek musical instruments.
So far, he has released 7 studio albums.
The first of them in 2011 and the last to date in 2022

Konstantinos Argyros is one of the big names in the Greek music industry.
He suggests an ethnic sound that is suggested both via emotional ballads and uplifting songs.
For Eurovision fans who have missed the ethnic Greek sound, this might be a good solution.
#2. Katerina Stikoudi
Katerina Stikoudi is a 38 year-old Greek singer, actress, host, model, businesswoman and former champion swimmer.
At the age of 8, she started training for swimming, and later on became a professional swimmer.
At the of 17, she started her modeling career.
Between 2008 and 2011, she hosted the most long-running talk show in Greek television – “MEGA Star”.
In 2010, she started working on her music career.
So far, she has released 5 albums: The first of them in 2010, and the last to the date in 2021.

Katerina Stikoudi is an established TV and music personality in Greece.
She suggests wonderful pop music with a sting in its message.
No one will be able to ignore her presence and her semi-husky voice.

#1.Gali Givon
Gali Givon is one of the rising stars in the Israeli music industry.
She is a 23 year old singer-songwriter.
Gali Givon tried her luck on the “Aviv Vs. Eyal” reality music show in 2018.
She was the first Israeli artist to sign a contract with the Universal label.

Gali represents the new age of rock. Her songs deliver emotions, with exphasis on music’s authenticity. She says that her origins are in the rock and grange scene.
In addition, Israel hasn’t sent a rock song to the contest, and I think it can prove that Israel can do well in non-pop genres.
#2. Tamir Grinberg
Tamir Grinberg is a 28-year-old Israeli singer-songwriter and pianist.
He rose to fame, after having won the 8th season of “Hakochav Haba” (The Rising Star).
Tamir was influenced by the Funk, Blues, and R&B genres as a teenager.
When he was 15 years old, he established his first band “Tamir Grinberg and his band”.
In 2014, the group won the “Independence Day Rock Festival” and even performed outside of Israel.
He performed in festivals around the world: Kaunas Jazz Festival (Lithuania), and BA City Beats Festival (Slovakia).
In 2014, he earned a scholarship for 4 years of Jazz and Music studies at Berklee College of Music (Boston, USA).
In 2021, he won the 8th season of “Hakochav Haba” (The Rising Star).
In 2022, he has entered the prestigious list of “Forbes Under 30″.

Tamir is a loveable character that the viewers can’t ignore. He has a warm voice that combines well in his self panned production and melodies.
Having the right song, he can do very well at Eurovision.
