San Marino: “Una Voce Per San Marino 2025” Format and Dates Have Been Revealed

Earlier this week, San Marino RTV started the national selection casting round.
For the 4th year in a row, the country will select the song and artist for Eurovision via “Una Voce Per San Marino”.

The registration window will close on the 31st of December 2024.
To date, more than 200 artists have applied for the selection, from all over the world and especially from Europe:


“Una Voce Per San Marino 2025” – Known Details


  1. The selection will kick-off with 16 days of casting round, where the professional jury will examine the candidate via auditions. Later on, the list of candidates will be shortlisted via the academy round.
  2. This year, established and emerging artists will compete together. It means that artists won’t get automatic qualification for the final.
  3. The casting round will end on the 26th of January 2025.
  4. Around 80 international artists (not based in San Marino) will qualify for the semi-finals.
  5. The televised show will include 5 semi-finals and a grand final.
  6. 20 international artists will compete in each of the first 4 semi-final, with 2 of them qualifying for the final.
  7. The 5th semi-final will feature artists from San Marino, with one of them making in for the final.
  8. The semi-finals will be held between the 17th and 21st of February 2024.
  9. The final will be held on Sunday, the 23rd of February 2025.
  10. It is still unknown whether a “second chance” round will be part of the selection.
  11. The results of each show (including the final) will be based on a 100% international jury vote.


Megara represented San Marino at Eurovision 2024 with the song “11:11″.
They finished in 14th place with 16 points in semi-final 2, failing to qualify for the final.

Eurovision 2025 will be held in Basel, Switzerland on the 13th, 15th and 17th of May 2025
