Denmark: “Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2025” Entries Will Be Released On February 6

Danish broadcaster DR closed the submission window for the national selection “Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2025” on the 27th of October 2024.

According to Eurosong DK, we learn that the 8 artists competing in “Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2025″ will be revealed on Thursday, the 6th of February 2025.
On the same day, the songs will be released.
Based on our previous article, one of those 8 acts has already represented Denmark in the Eurovision.

Erik Struve, the “Dansk Melodi Grand Prix” producer, emphasizes that Denmark’s main goal will be qualifying for the final. The country failed to qualify for the grand final between 2021 and 2024.

“Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2025” – Main Details

  1. “Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2025” will be held on Saturday, the 1st of March 2025. The televised show will be held at the Jyske Bank Boxen in Horsens.
  2. The songs and the artists will be revealed on the 6th of February 2025.
  3. The winner will be chosen by a combination of a jury vote and a public vote.
  4. The final will be held in Herning.

Denmark has failed to qualify for the final 4 years in a row (2021 – 2024).
