Switzerland Opens Submissions For Eurovision 2026 Internal Selection

Swiss broadcaster SRG SSR will select the Eurovision 2026 entry via an internal selection.

The Swiss Selection For Eurovision 2026:

  1. The selection process will be similar to the process that has been used ever since 2019.
  2. The submission window opened today (August 4th, 2025) and will close on August 25th, 2025.
  3. SRF, RTS, RSI, and RTR will jointly manage the selection process.
  4. Each artist/writer/producer/composer can submit up to 5 different entries.
  5. SRG SSR is looking for a modern, striking song that complies with international requirements.
  6. First, SRG SSR editor will eliminate all the songs that don’t meet the regulations.
  7. The final selection of songs and artists will be made in multiple stages by a panel of national and international viewers and an international jury of 25 music professionals (who have been part of the Eurovision jury in the past).
  8. The selection process will also include live singing session of the proposed songs.
  9. Songs may be submitted with words in any language.
  10. Applications must be submitted with an audio file via the official SRG SSR platform: srf.ch/eurovision

Zoë Më represented Switzerland in Eurovision 2025.
She performed the song “Voyage” and ended in the 10th place.

Eurovision 2026 will be held in Austria in May 2026
