The Dark Side of “Helena Paparizou”

2018 is super busy for the most iconic Diva in the Swedish-Greek industry “Helena Paparizou”

The Eurovision winner released earlier this year her mega-hit “Έτσι Κι Έτσι” (Totally Erased). the song is still airplay non-stop and we can barely count the number of remixes this song have.  A month ago shes released a magnificent video for “Total Disguise” a duet together with “Serhat” another Eurovision icon that represented San-Marino in Kiyv 2016

As this beautiful video keeps repeating in our hottest video playlist Ms. Paparizou knocks us down with a new single and video for “Kati Skotino” (Something Dark).
The official PR reveals the message behind the song lyrics:

“Every person has a dark side in his life.  But a relationship can not work when there is “Something dark” between the couple, and so there will forever be the danger of total wear on that bridge that unites their love…”

In the video Clip Helena dressed in a beautiful black hood sings to her “ex-lover” played by the Israeli actor “Shahar Kaikov”.  It’s nice to see that Greece and Israel building more bridges together as from that collaboration they now share more than just the same Mediterranean style in music.

Helena Paparizou represented Greece in 2001 Eurovision song contest as a part of the greek dou “Antique”. Their song “I Would die for you “came 3rd and its one of the most beloved greek entries till today.  the 3rd place wasn’t enough for Helena as she returns the Eurovision’s stage in 2005, this time followed by sexy male dancers, and she brings Greece their first ever victory in the contest.

Helena that lives in Sweden also tried her luck in the Swedish “Melodifestivalen” of 2014 and her entry “Survivor” that came 4th in the final is a diva anthem till today.

These days Helena is one of the judges in the greek version of  “The Voice” and It’s not hard to guess that Helena’s relationship with the contest and the Eurovision fans is far from being over.
