Eesti Laul 2020 – another 12 participants have been revealed

It’s time for some baltic news, ERR (Estonian Broadcaster) has revealed today 12 out of 24 participants in Eesti Laul 2020.

Estonia will choose an artist and song via Eesti Laul 2020. 12 songs will compete in each semi-final. The first semi-final will be held on the 13th of February 2020. The competing acts in the first semi-final will be revealed on the TV show “Ringvaade” on the 13th of November 2020. The second semi-final will be held on the 15th of February 2020. The final will be held on the 29th of February 2020.

In each semi-final will participate 12 artists. The voting will include two rounds. On the first round, televoting and a jury will pick 8 songs to continue. On the second round, televoting will determine which 6 songs out of 8 will qualify for the final. The final will include two rounds: On the first round, televoting and a jury will determine the top 3 songs. In the second round .“superfinal”), 3 songs will compete and the winner will be decided only by televoting

There are some familiar names

INGER competed in “Eesti Laul 2019” and performed the song “Coming Home” that lead the singer to end in 6th place in “Eesti Laul 2019”

Synne Valtri competed in “Eesti Lau l2019” and performed the song “I’ll Do It My Way”. she ended in 11th place in “Eesti Laul 2019” final.

Jennifer Cohen competed in “Eesti Laul 2019”. She performed the song “Little Baby El” and failed to qualify for the “Eesti Laul 2019” final.

Egert Milder competed in “Eesti Laul 2015” as part of a duet together with Liis Lemsalu. The duet failed to qualify for the final of the Estonian national selection in 2015.

Eesti Laul 2020 songs will be revealed on the 1st of December 2019.
