Latvia: SUPERNOVA2020 Finalists Have Been Announced

The Latvian broadcaster LTV has taken a step forward for finding its representative for Eurovision 2020 and announced the nine qualifiers for SUPERNOVA2020 final.

Last week the Twenty-six live auditions were presented for the viewers.  based on the viewing rates a special committee of the network has now shortened the list and selected nine acts (instead of Eight expected) that will continue for the next round.

SUPERNOVA2020 finalists are:

• ANNNA – Polyester
• Bad Habits – Sail With You
• Katrina Bindere – I Will Break Your Heart
• Katrina Dimanta – Heartbeats
• DRIKSNA – Stay
• Miks Dukurs – I’m Falling For You
• Edgars Kreilis – Tridymite
• Seleste – Like Me
• Samanta Tina – Still Breathing

Latvijas Televīzijas autoru un izpildītāju konkursa “Supernova 2020” finālā 8. februārī piedalīsies Samanta Tīna, Edgars Kreilis, Katrīna Dimanta, Miks Dukurs, ANNNA, Bad Habits, DRIKSNA, Katrīna Bindere un Seleste. Tātad kopumā šī gada vienīgajā konkursa tiešraidē LTV1 par uzvaru “Supernovā” un tiesībām pārstāvēt Latviju 65. starptautiskajā Eirovīzijas dziesmu konkursā Roterdamā, Nīderlandē, cīnīsies deviņi dalībnieki.

The Latvian entry for the Eurovision Song Contest will take place on February 8, 2020. more details regarding the show’s mechanism and hosts are about to be announced in the next days to come.
