Ukrainian broadcaster Suspline revealed the revealed the 3 hosts of “Vidbir 2023” – the national selection for Eurovision 2023.
The 3 hosts will be:
Timur Miroshnychenko

Timur Miroshnychenko is a known personality in the Eurovision scene.
In 2017, he was one the 3 hosts of Eurovision 2017 in Kyiv, alongside Volodymyr Ostapchuk and Oleksandr Skichko.
In addition, Timur was one of the hosts of “Vidbir 2022” – the national selection for Ukraine in Eurovision 2022.
He has been a Ukrainian commentator since 2007 (with the expectation of 2017) and hosted Junior Eurovision in 2009 and 2013.
In addition, he is one of the hottest names in the race to host Eurovision 2023.
One of the well-known scenes was of Timur Miroshnychenko commentating Eurovision 2022 from a bomb shelter, as the Russia-Ukraine war continues.
Timur commented:
“For me, Eurovision is not just work or another project, for me it is an inseparable part of life, like brushing my teeth or drinking morning coffee. Therefore, it is extremely important, honorable and responsible for me. Especially now – we have to continue to live, to create. Despite all! The whole world should hear our song. A song that also helps us, Ukrainians, overcome the most difficult times.
I really like this year’s line-up of finalists. First, they are all relevant. Just look at your playlists and you’ll see exactly these names. Secondly, they are all different. That is, everyone will find their favorite song. Third, they are real. Real artists, patriots, fighters of their front. I am sure that one of the coolest selections in our history is waiting for us.”
Zlata Ognevich

Inna Leonidivna Bordiuh (better known as Zlata Ognevich) is a 36 year old Ukrainian singer.
Zlata represented Ukraine at Eurovision 2013 with the song “Gravity“.
She ended in 3rd place in the final.
She raised in Crimea, and has been one of the active voices against the Russian invasion to Crimea in 2014
Kateryna Pavlenko

Kateryna Pavlenko is the lead singer of the folk band Go_A.
The band won “Vidbir 2020″ with the song “Solovey” and therefore should have represented Ukraine at Eurovision 2020.
However Eurovision 2020 was canceled due to the Covid pandemic.
Therefore, the bad have been internally selected to represent Ukraine at Eurovision 2021 with the song “Shum”.
They finished in 5th place in the final, being 2nd in the telveote.
In June 2021, Kateryna Pavlenko entered the top 100 most influential women in Ukraine according to the Focus magazine. She was ranked 10th among 100.
Kateryna Pavlenko commented:
This year will be a special National Selection, and I am glad that I was invited to be a part of this unique event, which will take place in the conditions of war, no matter what.
I am waiting for a song that will properly represent our country and once again show the whole world that we are a strong and indomitable nation that, despite everything, is fighting for its place on the European stage and showing good results there”
About “Vidbir 2023”
“Vidbir 2023” will be held in Saturday, the 17th of December 2022, starting at 17:00 Ukrainian time (16:00 CET)
The results will be determined by a combination of a 50% public vote and 50% national jury vote.
3 musicians have been chosen by the public as “Vidbir 2023″ jury and those are:

- Taras Topolia – The lead singer of the Antitila band
- Jamala – The winner of Eurovision 2016
- Yulia Sanina – The lead singer of alternative rock band The Hardkiss (“Vidbir 2016″)
10 artists will compete in the selection:

- Moisei – I’m Not Alone
- OY Sound System – Ой, тужу (Eng: Oh, I miss you.)
- DEMCHUK – Alive
- Jerry Heil – WHEN GOD SHUT THE DOOR
- FIINKA – Довбуш (Eng: Dovbush)
- KRUTЬ – Колискова (Eng: Lullaby)
- Tember Blanche – Я вдома (Eng: I’m Home)
- Angelina – Stronger
- 2TONE – Квітка (Eng: Flower)
- TVORCHI – Heart Of Steel
