“The Looker 2023”: Eurovision Wish List – Chapter 7(Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania)

Welcome to our series of posts – The Looker” where we will share our wish list of artists participating in Eurovision.
This is the 3rd year in a row that we are running the project.
But before we start, let us remark that our recommendations will not necessarily come true (as for example some countries select their artists by reality shows)

This is the 7th post in the series and it will concentrate on 3 countries: Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

#1. Manna

Manna is an Estonian singer-songwriter.
She released her first single, “Kaleidoskoop”, in 2019.
In 2020, she relesed her debut album “Manna“.
In 2021, she rekeased her second album,”I can do anything If I want to”.
Manna also has a radio show at “IDA RAADIO”.

Manna is probably one of the most unique artists in the Estonian music industry.
She combines airy vocals, house-techo beats and brave productions.
Her genre is somehow a combination of electronic, indie pop and RnB.
It is a risk that Estonia must take, and will be rewarded for.

#2. NOËP

NOËP (real name: Andres Kõpper) is a 33 year-old Estonian singer, film director and TV presenter.
He began his music career as a part of the band Tenfold Rabbit.
The band competed in “Eesti Laul 2012” and finished in 3rd place.


They also competed in “Eesti Lal 2013” where they were eliminated in the 2nd semi-final.


In 2015, he want on focusing on his solo career.
In 2021, he released his debut solo album “Folktonic”.
Later this year, he released an additional album – “No Man Is An Island“.
In 2023, he rleaed his 3rd album – “Move Your Feet“.
In 2023, he was one of the writers of the song “Tuju”, performed by Meelik.

NOËP suggests a unique sound, I would call his music “accessiable” electronic indie-pop (in the most positive way). There is something uplifting and cheering, listening to his music.

#1. Grēta

Grēta Grantiņa is a Latvian singer.
In 2021, she won the 4th season of “X Factor Latvia”
In 2023, she participated in the “Masked Singer Latvia” and ended in 5th place.

Grēta Grantiņa is a singer with a fresh new air of radio-friendly pop.
The fact that she chooses to mainly sing in Latvian is adorable.
Eurovision‘s participation might be a catalyst to her career.

#2. Bloody Heels

Bloody Heels is a Lativan metal glam rock band that was formed in Riga in 2011.
The line-up of the band includes 4 members: Vicky White (vocals), Harry Rivers (guitar), Gunars Narbuts (Bass), Gaz (drums).
In 2014, they released their debut EP: “Summer Nights”.
In 2017, thee band released their first album – “Through Mystery”.
In the gall of 209, they signed a contract with one of the leading rock and metal labels, “Frontiers Music srl“. In 2002, the released an additional album: “Ignite the Sky“.
The band toured Europe and performed in countries like Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Czechia, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Poland, Germany, Slovakia, Belgium and The Netherlands.

Bloody Heels has a strong character and sound you can’t ignore.
I believe they can make Latvia stand out in Eurovision

#1. Jessica Shy

Jessica Shy (real name: Džesika Šyvokaitė) ius a 27 year-old Lithuanian singer.
She participated in musical talent shows like “X Factor Lithuania” and “2 minutės šlovės“.
In 2019, she signed a contract with a record label, and went on to release her first single “Rožė”. This song spent 3 months in the top 40 charts.
In 2020, she was nominated for “Breatrhough of the Year” at the Lithuanian Music Awards.
In 2021, she relerased the song “Rugpjūtis” which became a hit and conquered the music charts.
In 2022, she released her first album “Apkabinti prisiminimus” (Eng: embrace the memories).
In 2023, she released her 2nd album “Pasaka” (Eng: Fairy tale).

Jessica Shy is one of the established singers in the Lithuanian music industry.
The majority of her songs have been accepted successfully by the audience, with millions of streams and views.
She can make Lithuania proud at Eurovision.


#2. Petunija

Petunija (real name: Agnėtė Magdalena) is a Lithuanian singer-songwriter and actress.
In 2019, she released her debut album “Petunija“.
In 2022, she released the EP “Two in Somnia“.
In 2023, she releaed the live album “Secret Live From Vilnius“.

The singer has participated in the Lithuanian selection 3 times:

In 2016, she performed “Tomorrow” and was eliminated in the 6th show:

In 2020, she performed “Show Ya” and was eliminated in the 2nd semi-final:

In 2023, she performed the song “Love of My Life” and ended 4th in the final:

Petunija is a talented singer and a true artist.
She delivers emotions through sincere lyrics and memorable melodies.
She somehow manages to combine alternative music with classical elements.
