Welcome to our series of posts – “The Looker” where we will share our wish list of artists participating in Eurovision.
This is the 3rd year in a row that we are running the project.
But before we start, let us remark that our recommendations will not necessarily come true (as for example some countries select their artists by reality shows)
This is the 6th post in the series and it will concentrate on 3 countries: France, Portugal, and Spain

Marie-Flore Pol is a 36 year-old French singer, author, composer and producer.
Her parents mainly listened to classical music, Celtic music or Anglo-Saxon folk/rock.
Marie-Flore gave her first concert at the age of 17.
She was spotted after releasing her first track on MySpace
So far, she has released 4 studio albums:

- “By The Dozen” (2014)
- Braquage (Eng: Heist) (6&7) (2019)
- “Je sais pas si ça va” (Eng: I Don’t know if it is OK) (2022)

#2. Jérémy Frerot
Jérémy Frerot is a 33 year-old French singer-songwriter.
He began his music career as a part of the duo Fréro Delavega, formed by Jérémy Frérot and Florian “Flo” Delavega. The duo participated in the 3rd season of “The Voice: la plus belle voix” and were mentored by singer Mika.
The duo released 2 successful albums that topped the French charts: “Fréro Delavega” (2014) and “Des ombres et des lumières” (2015).
The duo broke-up and each of them focused on a solo career.
In 2018, Jérémy Frerot lanuched his solo career.
He released his first album “Matryoshka” in 2018, while his second album “Meiileure Vie” (Eng: Better Life) was released in 2021

Jérémy Frerot is a charismatic performer who always puts a smile on the listener’s face.
His songs are bright and joyful, and maybe that’s all we need.
#1. Diogo Piçarra
Diogo Piçarra is a 32 year-old Portuguese singer.
He became known following his participation in the Portuguese Idol.
Diogo tried his luck 3 times in the contest, and ended as the winner in the 5th season in 2012.
He has been a mentor in “The Voice of Portugal” between the 7th and the 10th season.
So far, the singer has released 4 albums:

- do=s (Two) – 2016
- South Side Boy – 2019
- Ao Vivo No Altice Arence (Live From Altice Arence) – 2023

Diogo Piçarra is one of the leading names in the local industry, and that’s for a reason.
His style moves somewhere between electro pop and pop.
Nevertheless, he is a great performer.
#2. Bárbara Bandeira
Bárbara Bandeira is a 22 year-old Portuguese pop singer.
She is the young daughter of Rui Bandeira, who represented Portugal at Eurovision 1999.
In 2011, she participated on the 4th season of “Uma Canção para Ti”, a Portuguese talent show.
In 2014, she participated in “The Voice Kids Portugal”.
She started releasing songs in 2015.
Her debut album “Cartas” (Eng: cards) was released in 2018. Her album peaked at nubmer 1st in the local charts.
In 2018, she won best newcomer in the “Golden Globes Portugal Awards“.
In 2022, she won best Portugesse artist at the MTV awards
Ever since then, she has released several successful singles.

Bárbara Bandeira is one of the hottest names in the Portuguese industry.
We predict a very successful future for her, and also for Eurovision is that she makes it.
#1. Maria Jose Llergo
Maria Jose Llergo is a 29 year-old Spanish singer.
Maria joined the local violin school at a young age, and stood out in the local choir.
Later on, she received a scholarship and therefore moved to Barcelona.
She released her debut album “Sanación”(Eng: Healing) in 2020.
In 2019, she released the song “Me Miras Pero No Me Ves” (Eng: you look at me, but you don’t see me)
In 2022, she released the song “Mi Nombre” (Eng: My Name):
In 2023, she released “RUEDA, RUEDA” (Eng: Wheel Wheel):
Maria Jose Llergo suggests a very delicate and traditional line of music.
Her voice is one of the most special you’ll probably encounter and she can bring a beautiful cultural side of Spain.
Raoul Vázquez García is a 26 year-old Spanish singer-songwriter.
He began to gain renown at the end of 2016 when he competed in the fourth edition of “The Voice Spain”.
He has also participated in “Operación Triunfo 2017” and was eliminated 9th.
In 2018, he signed a contract with Universal Music.
His first single “Estaré Ahí” was released in 2019.
His debut album “El Pecado” was released in 2023.

RAOUL is a telented singer that has recently become more popular.
Above all, what describes him is the soul he puts in his music, and that’s what can make people want to listen to his songs.
