“The Looker 2024”: Eurovision Wish List – Chapter 11 (Czechia, Denmark, Iceland)

Welcome to our series of posts – “The Looker” where we will share our wish list of artists to participate in Eurovision.
You can easily reach all former posts here


This is the 4th year in a row that we are running the project.
But before we start, let us remark that our recommendations will not necessarily come true (as some countries select their artists by reality shows).

#1.Terra


Terra
is a Czech singer-songerwiter.
Her music is a mixture of house, electro, indie and edgy pop.
She started releasing music in 2020, and in the same year got recognition by the Czech radio.
In 2023, she released her debut album “Sugar & Sleaze”.
Her songs engage in non-typical topics like: anger, sex, drugs and querr community.
Terra is a unique artist who might shine on the Eurovision stage with an edgy and memorable song

In 2024, she releaed “Divine“:

#2. Ivo Blahunek

Ivo Blahunek is a Czech singer-songwriter.
He started releasing music in 2018.
Ever since then, he has released several singles, including his debut EP in 2023.
His music can be described as a fusion of pop, punk and alternative.
Ivo is a talented singer-songwriter who might suggest the full package for Eurovision.



In 2021, he released the song “Never“:


In 2023, he collaborated with Aiko (Czechia, Eurovision 2024) on the song “Why Don’t You?”

#1.Asbjørn

Asbjørn is a 31 year-old Danish singer.
He started his career inn 2012, just at the age of 19, releasing his own music independently.
So far, he has released 3 studio albums: in 2012, 2015 and 2022.
Over the years, he gave numerous live shows in festivals and his own concerts.
He creates his own style of indie pop music.
Asbjørn is a seasoned artist who excels in performing scandi-pop songs.
He can be the choice to take Denmark back to the final.

In 2024, he collaborated with Brimheim on the song “New Moon, Same Old Me“:

#2. Asta Norr

Asta Norr is a 23 year-old Danish singer.
She started releasing music in 2022.
Her music is a combination of jazz, pop, hip-hop and reggaeton.
You can feel the personal flow and creativity through her songs.
She seems like a perfect choice for Denmark, as a one that will lead to new adventure.

In 2023, she released the song “Wifey” (Eng: Woman):

#1. Ásgeir

Ásgeir Trausti Einarsson is a 32 year-old Icelandic singer-songwriter and musician.
So far, he has released 4 Eps and 5 studio albums (with the debut in 2012).
Between 2012 and 2014, he has won 6 music awards.
In addition, he performs with his own band Ásgeir Trausti Band and plays guitar in the Loveky Kion band.
Ásgeir defines his genre as electronic-folk.
He usually suggests soulful music with heart-warming voice.
I believe he can be a great choice for Iceland at Eurovision.

#2. lúpína

lúpína (real name: Nina) is an independent up-and-coming artist from Iceland. She released her debut album ‘ringluð’ in 2023.
Currently, Lúpína is in the process of crafting her next album.
lúpína combines seversl genres like electronic music, traditional choir music, radio pop and film music.
Her distinctive voice and irreesistable melodies put her in high priority to claim the stage for Iceland at Eurovision
