The countdown for the next edition of the Eurovision song contest has finally begun!
The EBU and the Dutch broadcasters NPO, NOS and AVROTROS have announced today that the Eurovision 2021 events will took place between 18-22 of May 2021.
- 18 May – First Semi-Final
- 20 May – Second Semi-Final
- 22 May – Grand Final
The shows will take place on Rotterdam city’s Ahoy Arena, the same arena that was chosen to host the cancelled 2020 edition of the show
Sharing more detail about the preparations, The Executive Producer of the Event “Sietse Bakker’ quoted that “The stage will be carried over to next year, because that was already prepared. Apart from that, a lot depends on what is possible at that time, on the availability of all those involved and on what fits the spirit of 2021“

For the moment, 26 countries already been approved to take part on the show. 18 of them belongs to 2020 class and got blessed by their national networks to fulfill their dream in 2021.
